We consumed what we had in stock as the expiration dates came up. As the years went by I gradually stopped replacing things. Not a good idea. I thought I'd make a Costco run this week and restock water and canned goods, but Costco in Amagasaki is now out of water and they don't know when they'll get more. There is a limit to two bottles per person for water in supermarkets in Kobe , if they even have water, and many places don't. Ditto for canned goods and instant noodles (although there are some of those some days). <br /><br />Once supplies are back to normal I'm redoing my earthquake stock.
