Im no nuclear expert but last time i looked into it the sun doesnt throw out "hot" particles that we ingest into our bodies. Any amount of ingested "low level" radiation is in fact detrimental to our health. 1 billionth of a gram of plutonium ingested into the human body (lungs, digestive) will produce cancer cells in that area in 2-60 years, its just the way it is. I agree that the level of radiation in Tokyo is likely realatively low and likely poses no IMMEDIATE health risk, but every person there has likely ingested these "hot particles". fact is, we wont know the true nature of this disaster for decades to come and i dont get a warm fuzzy feeling that everything is going to be fine....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2207076947655236975.post-14788291201261401092011-06-09T22:50:12.179+09:002011-06-09T22:50:12.179+09:00Here is an alternative video, just posted by a Kas...Here is an alternative video, just posted by a Kashiwa resident, showing much more modest levels.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qANERVOPoekanthonynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2207076947655236975.post-11151709605178992242011-06-09T20:04:16.354+09:002011-06-09T20:04:16.354+09:00"What happens when "safe" radiation..."What happens when "safe" radiation enters the food chain?" Hello! Well, no I can't write about places I didn't read because I didn't read them! Doh! Product Description:
Logic is the art of reasoning well—of learning to think God's thoughts after Him. In this book, directed toward junior-high students, Douglas Wilson and James Nance lay the proper foundation of reasoning in the truth of God, and go on to train students in the crucial skills of defining terms, recognizing basic types of statements, arguing with syllogisms, arguing in ordinary language, and identifying informal fallacies.mike in tokyo rogershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04977446676243085409noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2207076947655236975.post-34919417030126251262011-06-09T00:06:35.585+09:002011-06-09T00:06:35.585+09:00The question is not what readings you found - but ...The question is not what readings you found - but which areas you didn't read that others have found high levels in.

Why is it your call to say no big deal?

You are a shill - and you are doing a good job of protecting the industry.

Hope it goes well for you.

Nice to see you work for the industry that TEPCO is known for funding.

Well done - Marketing suits you.richardwhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16179937547375396820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2207076947655236975.post-31622557749711741522011-06-08T19:43:11.837+09:002011-06-08T19:43:11.837+09:00OK. It is entirely possible to compare independent readings taken on the ground and the ones the government took meters off the ground and the difference is not...astronomical. Sure, the readings are slightly higher at ground level but not so high that you need to get on the next plane, get more radiated than you are on the ground, and perhaps move to another city with higher background radiation.Murasaki Shikibuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10956944811391367016noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2207076947655236975.post-13032346565830979982011-06-08T10:15:58.343+09:002011-06-08T10:15:58.343+09:00Try measure the ground level and not the air like ...Try measure the ground level and not the air like this guy did...

http://enenews.com/5-77-microsieverts-per-hour-of-radiation-measured-near-tokyo-at-ground-level-govt-is-desperately-trying-to-keep-it-quiet-videoAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2207076947655236975.post-77287216760042704352011-06-08T09:58:19.328+09:002011-06-08T09:58:19.328+09:00Can't wait to get one and take it to Roppngi c...Can't wait to get one and take it to Roppngi clubbing!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
