I began to see Pearl Harbor for what it was: an imperial military outpost intended for the conquest of Asia. The Chinese should be thanking the Japanese for stopping Western imperialism in its tracks, otherwise China today would be Haiti writ large.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2207076947655236975.post-26877187183845400312012-02-13T18:09:28.725+09:002012-02-13T18:09:28.725+09:00Anonymous, Good point. When US forces entered Baghdad they draped a US flag over the Saddam statue.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2207076947655236975.post-82987115610207242812012-02-13T02:39:36.610+09:002012-02-13T02:39:36.610+09:00History is always written by the winners of a war....History is always written by the winners of a war.Andrew Josephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15063234777548462157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2207076947655236975.post-69367075360369345472012-02-12T22:10:11.643+09:002012-02-12T22:10:11.643+09:00Reminds me of a Zen story: Westerner prospective Z...Reminds me of a Zen story: Westerner prospective Zen student sees the master bowing to the various images around the temple and sneers, "You bowing to those images? Strong sentiments, I'd say.Boonoreply@blogger.com
