Kamikaze doesn't exactly mean suicide airplanes. Kamikaze means "Divine Wind."

ReplyDeleteBy the way, did you watch the drama series Japanese Americans? It documents the pain and suffering the first immigrants to the US suffered through racism and violence. Even with all that, there are many successful nissei and sansei families on the west coast, many of whom had children who fought with the 442nd in World War II while their parents were interned in Manzanar or Tule Lake.
