I’m just one of many bloggers who answer questions online and sometimes for the press. I usually handle questions about Japan, marketing or the economy, so in those areas I’m more likely to make sense and less likely to say something really stupid. If I post something here that you find helpful or interesting, that’s wonderful. This is my personal blog. If you don't like what you have read here then, just like when you go into a restaurant or bar that allows smoking, if you don't like it, there's something at the front that has hinges on it and it is called a "door."
This is a very interesting and insightful video. Good thing Mike posted it. It's worth an hour of your time.
ReplyDeleteThe one quibble I would have is when they spoke of the radiation levels in some neighborhood being multiple times higher than before the meltdown. That may, in fact, be equivalent to bragging that you have 25 times more money now than before, even though all you had before was a penny and now you have a quarter.
Comparisons of radioactivity to before the tsunami are interesting, but what is most important is whether or not the current levels are dangerous or not.
That show just served to illustrate the sheer hysteria that the Japanese have when it comes to radiation - the levels of radiation there are no more of a cancer risk than eating a bag of chips according to scientists.
