Their bio states: "Since forming in 2015 they have been making waves across the Birmingham and UK music scene with their energetic performances and fuzzy punk tunes. The Cosmics played the prestigious Glastonbury Festival’s BBC Introducing Stage 2017, making their first TV appearance on the BBC. Other major festivals they played last year included Reading Festival, Isle of Wight Festival and Kendal Calling, as well as being tipped by renowned club night This Feeling. At #3 this week is a brand new band from Sheffield in the UK and they are called, "The Kick Lips." The Kick Lips describe their sound as: "Rock'n'roll, New Wave, Indie, Psych Rock." At this week's #2 is a band that hasn't been on the countdown in about two years! Welcome back! ‘Matsuchiyo – Life of a Geisha‘ World Premiered at the 2018 Raindance Film Festival in London, England. ‘Matsuchiyo – Life of a Geisha‘ is a documentary about one of the last true geisha in Japan. From her wartime childhood to geisha apprenticeship to the glory days of a top geisha. This film illustrates the trials of the ultimate Japanese cultural enigma that is – The Life of a Geisha.
“Ghostroads – A Japanese Rock and Roll Ghost Story,” enjoyed its World-Premiere at the Raindance Film Festival in London on Sept. 25, 2017, and was released by a major Japanese motion picture company and in theaters all across Japan. The DVD and Blu-Ray went on sale all across Japan on June 13, 2018! It also enjoyed its Canadian theatrical release on August 31, 2018!

About Mike in Tokyo Rogers: Mike has been a professional music/TV/radio/anime-related program producer in Japan since the eighties. He began in the music business in 1977 as lead vocalist with the legendary Los Angeles Punk Band, “The Rotters” (Sit on My Face Stevie Nix.). Their bio states: "Sour Ops is a collection of some of the most talented rock ‘n’ roll musicians from Nashville and Memphis, veterans of beloved Tennessee bands like Sixty-Nine Tribe, Snakehips, Triple X, Neighborhood Texture Jam, and Tav Falco and Panther Burns, among many others.
