First up today is a band from Chicago named Bnny. Pitchfork magazine writes: "The debut LP from the Chicago indie-rock band Bnny has the sound of an empty bedroom...'Everything' is a beautiful record from wall to wall, comfort food for heartbroken insomniacs."

Next up is the sensation of 2021, her name is Willa Amai. Her bio says: "At nine years old, Willa Amai began her journey writing songs about heartbreaks she had yet to experience, losses she had never felt, and social injustices she didn’t even know existed. With eclectic inspirations - from Regina Spektor records played during bath time to the poetry books her parents read to her - this Los Angeles native quickly amassed a body of work revealing lyrical complexity far beyond her years."

At #1 this week is a band introduced to us by the one and only Stossy Reid. It's Nobro. Their bio says: “I wanted to play this type of music but there wasn’t a lot of women who wanted to play it. I wanted to be in the most kick-ass all female band ever,” raves Kathryn McCaughey, vocalist and bassist. Inspired by the likes of Jay Reatard, The Damned and Royal Trux to name a few, NOBRO are unafraid to wear their influences on their sleeve.
With co-writes with members of METZ and Fast Friends under their belts, as well as a new EP called Sick Hustle out soon on Dine Alone Records, NOBRO are well on their way to achieving their goal. They cut their teeth on the road with bands like FIDLAR and PUP, and will be playing their biggest venues to date on their upcoming arena tour with Alexisonfire and The Distillers."Here is their Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/nobrocity

He is currently producing and hosting “The Mike Rogers Show” daily around the world!
Also, Mike is the creator and founder of the Japan Indies Film Festival.
Also his life’s dream is his full-length motion picture, “Ghostroads – A Japanese Rock and Roll Ghost Story,” which enjoyed its World-Premiere at the Raindance Film Festival in London on Sept. 25, 2017, and was released by a major Japanese motion picture company and in theaters all across Japan from Sept. 2017 ~ Mar. 2018. Comments must be succinct & relevant to the story. Comments are checked frequently and abusive, rude or profane comments will be deleted. I’m just one of many bloggers who answer questions online and sometimes for the press. I usually handle questions about Japan, marketing or the economy, so in those areas I’m more likely to make sense and less likely to say something really stupid. If I post something here that you find helpful or interesting, that’s wonderful. This is my personal blog. If you don't like what you have read here then, just like when you go into a restaurant or bar that allows smoking, if you don't like it, there's something at the front that has hinges on it and it is called a "door."
