First up today is a band from La Vegas and their name is Cromm Fallon & The P200.
Their bio says: "Las Vegas musician, Cromm Fallon, recently played with his band the P200 at The Redwood Bar in Los Angeles promoting his new solo album “Electric Bloom”. The album is full of infectious beats and lyrics. His music is a brilliant mix of Garage, Britpop, and Psychedelia. Fallon definitely has music in his genes. His father, John Fallon, has been the lead vocalist and guitar for the Psych Rock band, The Steppes, since the 80s. Cromm and John actually have a band together called The Laissez Fairs."

At #2 this week is Willa Amai from Los Angeles. Her bio states: "At nine years old, Willa Amai began her journey writing songs about heartbreaks she had yet to experience, losses she had never felt, and social injustices she didn’t even know existed. With eclectic inspirations - from Regina Spektor records played during bath time to the poetry books her parents read to her - this Los Angeles native quickly amassed a body of work revealing lyrical complexity far beyond her years. She also created imaginative melodies, something she partly attributes to synesthesia (a neurological phenomenon in which one sense triggers the perception of another sense, like seeing letters and words as color). Now 17, Willa is sharing her music with the world, showing the extraordinary depth of her narrative voice and the subtle power of her songwriting."

At #1 is Josie Cotton and her latest single! Her reviews states: "Pussycat Babylon is an electropop master stroke of musical pastiches, fetching melodies and energetic rhythms and marks her metamorphosis as a songwriter (she penned 10 of the album's 11 tracks). From the motor-revving excitement of "Recipe For Disaster" to the dark noir slink of "Stop Iggy Pop" to the majestic disco of "All I Can See Is The Face of Bruce Lee" to the machine-gun punkish adrenaline rush of "Hi, I Like You," the album is an excursion into Josie's ultra-creative and hyperactive mind. The title track finds Josie at her most playful, purring coquettishly amid a propulsive and spacey soundscape."

SPOTLIGHT ARTIST! Today's spotlight artists brand new video by BimBamBoom! Their bio states: "After making a major debut as a member of detroit7, leader Miyoko Yamaguchi has been active worldwide as a live and recording musician for tricot, Scott & Rivers, PUFFY, Rei, Takehara Pistol, etc., and is a female drummer who represents Japan in both name and reality. Ayumu Tanaka (key), Marine (Ba), Aiko Oka (Gt), Misaking Arrow (T.Sax) and young elites gathered under her."

Comments must be succinct & relevant to the story. Comments are checked frequently and abusive, rude or profane comments will be deleted. I’m just one of many bloggers who answer questions online and sometimes for the press. I usually handle questions about Japan, marketing or the economy, so in those areas I’m more likely to make sense and less likely to say something really stupid. If I post something here that you find helpful or interesting, that’s wonderful. This is my personal blog. If you don't like what you have read here then, just like when you go into a restaurant or bar that allows smoking, if you don't like it, there's something at the front that has hinges on it and it is called a "door."
