First up today is a band from the UK called IDestroy! Kerrang Magazine exclaims: "An explosion of riotous energy that makes you want to get up and throw something, or possibly yourself, across the room." - Kerrang! Magazine
Here is their Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Idestroyband
3) IDestroy - We Are Girls https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQH-b9vkBAE
Next up is my favorite new band from Liverpool! It's Yee Loi with another hot new cover! Yee Loi's bio says: "Two sisters (Rose 13 & Matilda 11) from Liverpool, (and their brother on bass!) from England rocking out!"
Here is their Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/yeeloipunkrock
2) I Don't Wanna Grow Up / Yee Loi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfLYXAOpfCU
At #1 today is a brand new song from sensation Willa Amai! Willa's bio is amazing: "Willa Amai is still in high school, but she’s already so skilled as a singer-songwriter that she impressed legendary songwriter/producer Linda Perry (who’s written songs for the likes of P!nk, Christina Aguilera, and Gwen Stefani, as well as hit singles such as “What’s Up” for her own ‘90s band, 4 Non Blondes). At their first meeting (when Amai was only twelve years old), Perry was so immediately taken with Amai’s talent that she offered to serve as a mentor." What???? Incredible.

SPOTLIGHT ARTIST! Today's spotlight artists are perfect for summer! It's the Routes from Fukuoka. Their bio is very amusing: "Based in bowl in the mountains (Hita City, Oita prefecture), Anglo-Nipponese trio The Routes play independently over 600 miles south of the Tokyo garage scene.

He began in the music business in 1977 as lead vocalist with the legendary Los Angeles Punk Band, “The Rotters” (Sit on My Face Stevie Nix.).
As a university student, he was assistant to the legendary Rodney Bingenheimer (Rodney on the ROQ – KROQ Los Angeles from 1980 ~ 1981.)
Mike was the first and only foreigner in Japanese history to become the General Manager of a major Japanese broadcasting station (TV Tokyo owned InterFM). Has produced a few smash hit programs (some real losers, too!) and several of Tokyo’s highest-rated and most famous radio programs.

He is currently producing and hosting “The Mike Rogers Show” daily around the world!
Also, Mike is the creator and founder of the Japan Indies Film Festival.
Also his life’s dream is his full-length motion picture, “Ghostroads – A Japanese Rock and Roll Ghost Story,” which enjoyed its World-Premiere at the Raindance Film Festival in London on Sept. 25, 2017, and was released by a major Japanese motion picture company and in theaters all across Japan from Sept. 2017 ~ Mar. 2018. The DVD and Blu-Ray went on sale all across Japan on June 13, 2018!
His next project, “Matsuchiyo – Life of a Geisha” world premiered at the 2018 Raindance Film Festival in Oct. 2018.
Mike is also an Official Jury member to the Raindance Film Festival in London making him the first person ever to serve as a Jury Member from Japan in Raindance Film Festival history. …

Comments must be succinct & relevant to the story. Comments are checked frequently and abusive, rude or profane comments will be deleted. I’m just one of many bloggers who answer questions online and sometimes for the press. I usually handle questions about Japan, marketing or the economy, so in those areas I’m more likely to make sense and less likely to say something really stupid. If I post something here that you find helpful or interesting, that’s wonderful. This is my personal blog. If you don't like what you have read here then, just like when you go into a restaurant or bar that allows smoking, if you don't like it, there's something at the front that has hinges on it and it is called a "door."
