Welcome to the Top 3 New Video Countdown for Mar. 27, 2021!
The 2021 Ninja Indies Music Awards from Tokyo, Japan! All Indies Bands welcomed! A broadcasted worldwide TV show! Sign up here:
First up today is a band from Nashville and Memphis called the Sour Ops. Their bio states: "Sour Ops is a collection of some of the most talented rock ‘n’ roll musicians from Nashville and Memphis, veterans of beloved Tennessee bands like Sixty-Nine Tribe, Snakehips, Triple X, Neighborhood Texture Jam, and Tav Falco and Panther Burns, among many others."
Here's their Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/souropsband
3) Sour Ops "There She Goes": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xS_s_jHUwNg
Next up are Montreal's Psycho Garage Punks! They are a band from Montreal, Canada called, The Hypnophonics! A quick search revealed: "The best part about local psychobilly band the Hynophonics! is that they don’t really play psychobilly. This is a good thing, because the psychobilly scene has become somewhat predictable of late. Picture a 13-year old kid finding their father’s Carl Perkins records on Halloween, then add pack mentality, and you have the psychobilly punk culture down pat, with its B-movie motifs, country twang, and Crybaby-inspired dress code." https://montrealgazette.com/entertainment/music/local-spotlight-the-hypnophonics-katacombes-november-28th/
Here their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/TheHypnophonics
2) The Hypnophonics - "Oh No - Oh Ya!":
Next up is a "Punk Rock N' Roll from Los Angeles" act named Turbulent Hearts. I searched for information and found this: "Turbulent Hearts were put together in late 2014 as frontwoman Suzi Moon’ previous band Civet collapsed after six releases including two with Hellcat Records (‘Hell Hath No Fury’ (2008), and ‘Love & War’ 2011); she ditched the moniker Suzi Homewrecker but retained the feisty attitude evident across this entire album." https://louderthanwar.com/turbulent-hearts-foolish-album-review/
Hey! I have met this girl! Civet were guests on my radio show a long time ago (maybe it's been ten years?) ! Hi Suzi san! (of course she doesn't remember me!)
Do Turbulent Hearts have a Facebook? Sure:

SPOTLIGHT ARTIST! Today's spotlight artist is one of Japan's most famous bands! Yes, that's right! The Routes! Some people in Japan haven't heard of this band, but they get consistent airplay on Rodney Bingenhemier's show and on my show and they headline rock festival's in Europe! What? No kidding. They will be featured on the Mike Rogers Show starting the first week in April and heard in 18 nations!
The Routes are really fab! Their bio states: "No gimmick, no bullshit... Stomp'n'Grind Garage Rock, Garage Punk, Surf, Rhythm and Blues, Psych... Whatever the hell WE want to hear! Based in bowl in the mountains (Hita City, Oita prefecture), Anglo-Nipponese trio The Routes play independently over 600 miles south of the Tokyo garage scene. The Routes play mostly original music, taking influence from UK and US 60s music and culture, happily oblivious to the fads and trends of today." Today's track was just released.... Today!
