Japan Government and Military Conspiracies and Why Tokyo Only Has 5 FM Radio Stations for Over 35 Million People!

(This article first ran on May 11, 2012 but the general message is still as relevant today as ever)

Here is why the FM radio stations in Tokyo all suck and why there were only a few of them in such a big city.

In the metropolitan area of the capitol city of Japan, Tokyo, there are over 35 million homes. This metropolitan area and the surrounding plains (Kanto area) accounts for 51% of Japan's total GDP... So it comes as a great surprise to many visitors to Tokyo to tune into any radio and find the dial sparsely populated with any signs of life.

What I mean to say is that besides incredibly boring and staid FM radio stations, there are just a handful of them - 5 commercial FM stations to be exact! Compare that to a city like Los Angeles which has a population of under 4 million people - about 1/10th the population of Tokyo - yet has, by last count, over 68 FM stations; well over ten times the number of stations that Tokyo suffers!"

"Yeah. I know this. FM radio in Tokyo sucks. Are you saying they are all in some sort of 'sucking conspiracy'?" 

I'm just going to touch on the main points and you think about what this implies by yourself.... The reason why Japan in general only had 5 major terrestrial television stations (in a country with half the population of the United States) and why there are so few TV and radio stations in general has to do with the Cold War and the military-industrial complex as well as incredible Japanese government incompetence!"

Seriously, though, about 95% of all Japanese under 35 years don't even own a radio! 

Let's go back even one year, before all the TV stations went digital. At that time there were only 5 commercial TV stations in the Tokyo area that were accessible by most people. There were only 5 commercial FM stations.... Why was it, do you suppose, with all this available band-width that the Japanese government never allowed more TV or FM stations (or AM stations, for that matter) to be made? I'll tell you why; it was a conspiracy of the military industrial complex....

Here's pieces of the puzzle. Now I'll tell you what I saw, then you tell me what you think happened.... I'll definitely tell you what I think happened after putting 'two and two' together! 

In 1983, I moved to Japan. I needed a job so I got one teaching English. One assignment I had was teaching English to a bunch of engineers at an organization called NASDA (today called NAXA). NASDA was Japan's own version of NASA - you know, the people who waste gazillions of taxpayer dollars sending golf carts into space? Yeah. I taught those guys English. I even had security clearance. Not very high security clearance, mind you, but I could walk around the hallways with my handy neck strap and people wouldn't hassle me... So I was a sort of a 'regular' there. This next part is very important: NASDA was founded in 1969. This is critical information to this scandal....Don't forget that NASDA was founded in 1969!!!... (The year of the moon landing!?)

Anyway, I taught these "rocket scientists" English for a few years or so... The mere fact that I taught "rocket scientists" English proves that they don't know what the f*ck they were doing! Hell, I only had a substitute teaching license and here I was teaching rocket scientists!

the moon that same year! Hey! Haven't I seen this toy on TV before... 

Like on a moon landing that some say was staged???!!!

After a while teaching these guys, they became buddies of mine. Sometimes we went drinking together. One time they told me that they were so excited about a new project. So happy about it were they, that they showed it to me in person a few days later; it was Japan's first ever rocket. They were getting ready to launch this thing into space (or the air, or to where ever they could get it to go). They were so excited about it that it reminded me of my youth and how we gleefully burned things and blew stuff up and launched model rockets a few hundred feet into the air from our backyards. They clucked with delight to show me this "huge" project....

On the other hand, I was so surprised when I saw the "rocket." I thought I was going to see something like we saw on TV of Apollo launches; you know, massive structures like rockets standing 100 or 150 meters tall into the sky... Taller than a building... But what I saw really did look like a big version of the toy model rockets that we launched when we were kids... The thing looked like it was at the most 23 feet tall and there was no way any sort of animal could ride in it - excepting maybe a mouse (and that would be considering that it were so narrow in the cockpit that he wouldn't have enough space to even change his mind!)..... The engineers told me that their mission was to send rockets into space with satellites to circle the globe....

I laughed at the absurdity of this nonsense (under my breath of course) and wondered why Japan was wasting tens, nay hundreds, of millions of dollars on this toy rocket nonsense...

It wouldn't strike me as a conspiracy for nearly a decade later...

Fast forward to about 1990 or 1991 or so...

Incredibly, somehow NASDA was able to launch this toy rocket and, by the early nineties, had grown their technology (no doubt a big thanks to NASA) and announced to the world that Japan was preparing to join the space race by sending up their very own communications satellite. 

Now, of course, Japan has to call this satellite a "communications satellite" because Japan's constitution forbids her from having any military. They could never say, "Spy satellite." But what do "communications" satellites do? They pick up on and bounce around communications.... It's not rocket science (pardon the pun) to figure out that a 'communications satellite' can also spy on people and communications from other countries.... 

I believe in order to counter any claims against this being a spy satellite... The government opened up 1/2 of the satellite for commercial broadcasting... It was never announced, of course, what other functions of the satellite were for obvious reasons....

The folks at the Japanese government proudly announced to the Japanese people that they were finally opening up the airwaves and were offering channels to companies who wanted their own TV and radio stations! Finally! Freedom of choice! "Our very own broadcasting station!" thought many big Japanese corporations who had asked the Japanese government for a broadcasting license for many years past only to be denied each time... 

With that news, many big corporations lined up for the chance to get a broadcasting license... They salivated at the chance! Finally, they could have what they've wanted since the beginning of the Japanese economic miracle of the sixties through the eighties: their very own station to broadcast as they wish and to better their sales and businesses.... It was a dream come true!

Or was it?

Of course, as I said, it seemed obvious to me, and a lot of other people at that time, that this satellite also served the purpose of spying on North Korea and China... Of course, though, the governments of Japan and the United States would never want to spy on North Korea or China, right? We're the good guys....

Anyway, many stations started up at that time on this satellite named CS Baan; those were both digital radio stations (I worked at one owned by Kadokawa publishing - one of the biggest publishing companies in Japan - called PCM Zipang) and many other TV stations. I don't recall the exact number, but it seems to me that there were a few dozen or three of these stations....

The biggest catch with this entire satellite broadcasting extravaganza that caught everyone by surprise (sort of) was that, while having a station to broadcast as you wish is wonderful, it doesn't mean anything if no one sees it or hears it. Sort of like the old question, "If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?" 

The price for tuning into one of these stations was extremely expensive. One needed a satellite dish hooked up to their balcony as well as a tuner. The entire set plus installation - at that time - ran anywhere from ¥150,000 ~ ¥300,000 per unit  (about $1,800 ~ $3,600 USD)... Throw on top of that the extra monthly fee the stations charged for subscriptions, and you had companies asking people to fork over several thousands of dollars to watch or listen to the same type of sh*tty music or TV programs that the 4 or 5 free stations were airing....

Several thousands of dollars for crappy TV and radio? A tad bit of a problem.... So, needless to say, there were very few people who had bought the satellite tuner so that they could tune into this stuff.... In fact, I can't say that I knew of anyone who bought or owned one and I even worked at those stations...

Soon, of course, a bunch of these stations started going bankrupt... PCM Zipang did and I don't recall that it survived even two years in the broadcasting business. 

Imagine that if you were Kadokawa (one of the biggest publishing companies in Japan), the corporate owner of Zipang. You just forked over millions of dollars for a broadcasting license to the Japanese government for a broadcasting license on a station that no one can listen to and now your station goes bankrupt.... I think you'd be a little bit pissed off. I think your lawyers might be considering some way to sue someone in court (like the Japanese government) for misleading you and pulling a 'Bait and switch' on your dreams of having a proper broadcasting station. That's a very important point! This is critical information to this scandal....Don't forget that it is quite conceivable that many of these corporations lost millions and would consider suing the Japanese government in court. I know I would. Wouldn't you?

By this time, I was already alert to what was going on. Think about it; there's no way one can just decide today that they're going to launch a 'communications satellite' or rocket and get it done in a few weeks or even months... It takes years...decades of planning and testing... 

Don't forget that NASDA was founded in 1969... What would be the purpose of founding a space agency? To launch sh*t into the air, right? I propose to you, (dear reader) That the Japanese government knew well before 1969 - most probably since the late 1950s - that they wanted to launch this satellite (that, of course, has military spy capabilities) and that they needed to do two things to cover their incompetent asses:

1) They wanted to get Japanese corporations to help cover the costs of building and launching this contraption by buying a broadcasting license (sneaky plan "a").

2) By also doing 1) (above) they could deflect criticism over the possible military uses of a satellite as this is obviously a violation of Article 9 of the Japanese constitution renouncing the establishment of a military or military capabilities (sneaky plan "b"). 

As an aside, one of the guys working for my company had a TV show on MTV Japan. MTV Japan was a channel on this silly satellite. They were losing millions. One day I was at that station and the Vice President of the entire company (a totally crazy woman named Rebecca) asked me, 

"How can we get a channel on a regular VHF TV station?"

That's easy," I answered, "Sue the Japanese government in court." She looked at me as if I were nuts. No, she's the nutty one. I'm the one who knows what he's talking about.

As you might be thinking now, "This sounds something along the lines of the government of Japan being a total and complete clusterf*ck with conspiracies and incompetence galore...." 

And you'd be right.

Now think about it.... All these years, after the war and since the early 1950s (NHK & Nihon TV started in 1953) all these companies wanted a broadcasting license but the Japanese government denied them, not because there wasn't any space on the dial, but because they had plans for launching a satellite (and wanted political cover and subsidization from private enterprise!) A satellite that had some military and spy purposes (like all satellites do). Then, when they get ready to launch the satellite, they go back to the companies that originally wanted a license and say, "Remember when you asked for a broadcasting license? Well, we got it for you now!" 

Those companies then cough up millions to the government for their broadcasting license; subsidizing the launch of a satellite and.... Ka-ching! Cash registers ring!

Then they launch the satellite and, soon after, with a bit of poor planning (it is the government we're talking about here after all, right?) all these channels go bankrupt and even today the few remaining ones are all losing millions of dollars annually. So, today, when a new company (like, say Rakuten) wants a broadcasting license, the Japanese government just can't grant new licenses to them on free terrestrial channels because if they do they might get sued in court by the other companies that lost money on the other broadcasting license on Satellite Clusterf*ck!... Because the former companies that lost money can complain and ask why they weren't given the free channels instead first?

Example: Company A, that lost 400 million dollars on their satellite broadcasting station (as well as another dozens and dozens of others), might sue the government if said government allocates a free channel to Company Z. Get it? The companies that lost money might sue the government if the government gave away any new licenses on free terrestrial channels to other companies! Hence! No new stations! And today only 5 FM stations in Tokyo!

Now, years later, it doesn't matter for TV anymore as the remaining TV stations all went digital and three of them could go bankrupt. It doesn't really matter for radio anymore either as no one listens to radio. The Internet has come along and every company now has an Internet website to do with as they wish... No government interference... And, with the Internet, FEW COMPANIES EVEN WANT A BROADCASTING LICENSE IN JAPAN ANYMORE - THE GOVERNMENT COULDN'T GIVE THEM AWAY!!!

So now you know why there are only 5 FM stations in Tokyo... You may think this is a conspiracy, but, in a way, it was at one time, but now it's just one more piece of evidence on how incompetent and F'ed up the government is.... 

The government had ulterior motives (wanting to launch a satellite) in not allowing broadcasting licenses... Then they sold the licenses to takers. Then those companies went bankrupt. Then the government was afraid to give out licenses to other companies because they might get sued by the companies that lost money. Now? The internet has come along and no one even wants a license and all the rest of the remaining stations are all losing money... The government probably couldn't give away broadcasting licenses today for free!

What happened? A conspiracy? In the past... Yes. Ultimately, the end result? A government interfering with business; ignoring the constitution; back scratching and big money payola; and that same government doing whatever it can to cover their a*ses for decades and wasting hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayers and corporate tax money... On what?

An obsolete broadcasting business that is in the red across the board that no one watches or even cares about and a satellite that is only good for spying on North Korean missiles that don't work. 

Nah, that couldn't be a conspiracy... It's just plain a government f*ck up... That's MUCH more believable. 

Now, like I said, I'm not a rocket scientist, but I think my math on this one works out....

UK Met Office: "Global Warming Stopped 16 Years Ago"

What did I tell you?

I've been saying this since 2006; "Don't believe the hype." You know that anytime the government tells you that there is some kind of problem and the cure to that problem is more taxes from the pocket of you, the taxpayer, then it's time to be extremely skeptical.

I've learned this over 30 years of being in the mass media.

I've heard it all before. Not being the sharpest tool in the shed, it took me almost 20 years of being in that mass media before I figured out that one cannot believe what they are told.

My favorite saying is: "Eighty percent of everything you see or hear on TV is bullshit. The other twenty percent are commercials."

We have heard it all before. Just in the last decade or so; Iraqi troops were killing babies in Kuwaiti incubators; SARS was going to kill 150 million people; the Avian Flu was going to kill another 100 million more; Swine flu? Ditto. Saddam Hussein had nuclear weapons... The list went on and on... They were all lies...

Then, another huge lie; the Global Warming farce.

I was broadcasting my complete skepticism about this one day on my morning drive time FM radio show here in Tokyo when a listener - a hard core believer in Global Warming religion - called the station and threatened to burn it down. I invited him over to do so and told him we'd be waiting for him with the Fire Department and the police.

He never showed up, of course.

Consider the idiocy: The ice bergs are all going to melt and raise the seas levels by 30 meters? What? Ice bergs float on water. They displace the weight of the water. If they melt the water wouldn't rise by a millimeter. When your ice melts in your drinks, does your cup run over?

That's the simple mindedness of the argument of the Global Warmist Cult.

People were scaring other people about Global Warming merely to increase taxes and to line the pockets of their friends with government grants for bankrupt industries like the Solayndra scandal.

Well, they are all running around with their tails between their legs now. Now, enjoy these two tidbits (that certainly will not get enough press in the mass media) from the former front running leader of the Global Warming scare: The UK Metrological Office:

British Press Acknowledges Antarctic Ice at Record Levels:

“Ice around the South Pole has expanded to cover a record area, scientists revealed yesterday – a month after saying that the North Pole had lost an unprecedented amount of its ice.”

They say the only two certain things in life are death and taxes. Yes. True. So, keeping that in mind, like I said, whenever there's a problem and someone shows up and says, 

"I'm from the government. And I'm here to help."

You should turn around and start running the other way.

As has been written on this very blog, and all over the Internet by financial related blogs run by responsible and respectable people (not the Lamestream Mass Media) Facebook IPO is a dog and has lost massive amounts of money for investors in only three days.


But now, it's been reported that even the old-hands, the old pros, at scamming people have been ripped off by Zuckerberg and the Facebook IPO!

Marketwatch reports in: Facebook Loses Keep Taking Tech Spotlight

Facebook shares fell $3.03, or almost 9%, to close at $31. The stock is now down more than 18% since the company went public Friday at $38 a share.

Facebook’s decline on Tuesday was attributed at least in part to a report from Reuters that said Morgan Stanley cut its revenue outlook on Facebook just before the IPO. Morgan Stanley was also one of Facebook’s IPO underwriters.

As the WSJ reports: "A senior Nasdaq Stock Market official told customers Tuesday afternoon that it would have pulled the plug on Facebook Inc.'s initial public offering had it known the full extent of the technical problems that plagued its systems. On a conference call with brokers after Tuesday's close, Eric Noll, head of transaction services, said the exchange "by no means would have gone forward" with the much-watched Facebook debut if it had known problems would disrupt a "normal trading day." "In retrospect, it was incorrect," Mr. Noll said of Nasdaq's interpretation of problems." At this point every plaintif's bar attorney eyes just lit up, because what Nasdaq just admitted was liability.

This, folks, was absolutely predictable. What does Facebook offer? What does it produce? Nothing. Companies like Apple produce a tangible product. Facebook does nothing of the sort. Imagine if Facebook closed all their "factories" in the USA and shipped them overseas to China, what would be lost to the US economy? 

Nothing.

That's what we're dealing with here folks. Facebook produces nothing and has no true revenue. Hence, someday, and I suspect very soon, Facebook's share value will drop to the value of what it produces: Nothing.

Like I wrote before: I'm in a party and in walks Mr. Groupon and Mr. Facebook. I introduce them; "Mr. Groupon? I'd like to introduce my friend Mr. Facebook. Mr. Facebook, Mr. Groupon... You both have much in common so I'm sure you'll have plenty to talk about."

Japanese Insurance Companies Stop Payments for Jews, Catholics, Cross-dressers, Left-Handed People, Club Members, Punks and Yakuza

Well, they haven't stopped life insurance payments for Jews, Catholics, Cross-dressers, Left-Handed People, Club Members and Punks... Yet. But they have stopped payments to some families because of their associations, namely to so-called yakuza and their associates. This is outrageous and a crime in plain view.


I relish the idea that I can cop from the old police detective TV shows when I say, "Something smells bad about this."

Both are criminal organizations. But only one bombs and kills

innocent people 24/7 in the Middle East.

The recent crackdown on the Yakuza in Japan is not motivated by any recent domestic developments or problems on the home front. I submit to you, dear reader, that this crack down is motivated partly by US government pressure and is just another of many scams being perpetrated by our government to steal money to help pay for the financial disaster that the western governments (Japan included) have engineered that is about to befall on all of us regular people in the working class. On top of that, it is just another boondoogle for a government agency (the Japanese police) to try to justify massive public tax expenditures and to try to avoid budget cutbacks next year... 

US Government Hypocrisy Showing True Colors

This Yakuza crack down is a side show and a diversion. As with all overt and covert government wars and operations, propaganda is used as the enemy must be dehumanized and discredited in order to cover for government actions that restrict freedom and our lives. This case is no different. It is a diversionary attempt to get the public eye off the real issues at hand and to create a distraction so that the public does not pay attention to the real problems of our country.

At the end of August 2011, the Japanese entertainment world was shocked and aghast when one of the most recognized and famous TV entertainers, Shinsuke Shimada abruptly retired from TV due to allegations of having ties with the underworld... Specifically speaking, the Yakuza.


This crack down in Japan on the mafia in Japan seems very timely as it doesn't seem to be motivated purely by a domestic agenda. It has an extra topping, so to speak. I accuse the USA of, once again, blowing smoke and interfering with Japan's domestic issues. Dear reader should take note that this crackdown has an uncanny timing beginning this year (with Japanese government credit downgrades) and with a US government crackdown that began with pres. USA Attacks Yakuza! War Breaks Out!  


So the USA, the world's biggest criminal organization decides that the Yakuza are a threat? Really? I'd care to debate that issue. I don't think in the entire history of the Yakuza could they have killed or robbed nearly as many people as the United States does on a daily basis.

Need examples? How about bombing and murdering people all over the world since the end of World War II and how about robbing their own people through the coercion of taxation and debt since 1913?

Is there any one of us who is so naive to think that the USA has gone into Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya; is using drones to assassinate people in Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen; and, more recently, has sent more US troops into Africa so that those people can be "free" and to help "protect them"!? I hope not.

When has the USA EVER gone to war to help protect the rights of dark skinned people or the rights of the individual? No. The USA goes to war for the control of resources and to take national treasures. 

That's what empires do. That's what they've always done. That's what they will always will do. To think otherwise is just plain stupid.

As I have said, the sudden war with the Yakuza seems to be driven by US politics and economics. The timing is too great. I believe the US sees a chance to steal or at least control money that they think they can take from the Yakuza. So, of course, they have to have a media campaign to vilify the Yakuza. It's a pathetic campaign at that. That the Japanese government cooperates with this crap is just another sign that the current Japanese government, in spite of paying lip service to the notion of standing up to the USA is just another in a line of many lap dogs.

Let me deconstruct one such example of this tabloid sensationalism and piss-poor reporting and, well, downright lying.

The Christian Science Monitor, never one to not be in the front row screaming for any foreign US military adventure, is also at the top of the cheerleaders section for this recent attack on people who do have the right to association. Please refer to this July 27 article from CS Monitor: 

Japan's Yakuza Mafia Faces a Crackdown:

Recent scandals over illegal gambling among sumo players and ringside VIP tickets for Japan's notorious yakuza gangsters have enveloped Japan's venerated sport of sumo and fascinated the public.

My god! Sumo? Scandals involving illegal gambling!? Ringside VIP tickets!? What'll we ever do? I won't bore dear reader with how asinine this is except to say that, in Japan, as with the USA, gambling is illegal, except if it is run by the government (such as lotteries) or backed by companies that make massive campaign contributions such as horse racing or casinos. Scandals over ringside tickets for the boring sport of Sumo? Heavens.

NOTE: If you've never made a bet in your life or paid a premium for that, say, Red Hot Chili Peppers tickets (or would have if you could have to get better seats) then stop reading right now.

But these are mere sideshows to what is roiling Japan's gangsters, many observers say. 

Yeah. What is roiling the Yakuza, probably, is the police, suddenly and with no reason, obstructing business.

NOTE: If you think we have a government and pay taxes to them so that they can control who buys and sells Sumo tickets and at what price, or that our government should be here to legislate morality such as gambling and drinking, you are in the wrong country. North Korea or Saudi Arabia is probably best for you.

After decades of unspoken agreements between police and yakuza that have allowed organized crime to operate with relative impunity in everything from gambling on sport and illegal casinos to human trafficking and prostitution, the national police are cracking down on Japan's top yakuza gang, energized not only by the embarrassment over the sumo debacle but also by the emergence of a dynamic new National Police Agency (NPA) chief last year who wants to curtail the broad influence of yakuza in society.

Yes. It was business as usual... Until recently.... Those Yakuza bad guys! I know they've been bothering me and everyone else I know everyday since I've been living here. How can any of us sleep at night? Wow! What a litany of bad stuff. Let's see. What was that list again?

Well, I'm sorry Mr. Nazi, but, seriously, as adults, I think adult people are generally old enough and responsible enough to decide and can gamble all they want when and where they want. Sometimes I don't mind a little Black Jack but I usually leave because I get clobbered real quick. I'm not really a gambler, but am not against anyone having a little enjoyment. Why the government is legislating casinos and gambling is beyond their reach of power as originally set up in the constitution. And prostitution? You kidding me? When two consenting adults wish to partake in sex, it's none of anyone's else's damn business!

But! Human trafficking!? Wow! That's another story! I didn't know that the Yakuza were said to be involved with human trafficking? This has to stop! Well, they must be doing human trafficking since the CS Monitor says they are, right? Let's click on that link at the venerated Christian Science Monitor and get more information on that! 

I clicked on the link for an article entitled: View From the Streets. How the Eliot Ness of Japan's Drug World Gets the Job Done.  But you know what? I couldn't find one single word about human trafficking. Nope. Not one. I did find a fluff story about some cops named Umeda, Kanda, and Shimada and their neighborhood and how they busted people doing and selling drugs but not a word about human trafficking.

Bullsh*t! Don't believe me. Go to the link and check for yourself. I can't find any mention of this human trafficking.

Finally, considering the above, and this next piece of evidence, here is why I believe that this entire affair stems from a blatant US government attempt to steal monies (now possibly forcing the Japanese government to cooperate along side even more so than originally envisioned). This has everything to do with propping up our failed economies and banking institutions (caused malfeasance and corruption) and our government hand in helping those institutions ruin our economy.

In this small and completely banal piece of evidence I want to submit to you, lies a piece of a larger puzzle, in my opinion. It is a totally and completely illegal action on the part of insurance companies in Japan. Please refer to: 

No Life Insurance for Yakuza

TOKYO (majirox news) — Life insurance companies will include a provisional clause in their guidelines which allows them to deny coverage to the yakuza, Japan’s organized crime groups, according to life insurance industry officials.

The Japanese insurers will need approval for the provision by Japan’s Financial Service Agency (FSA), which they are expected to receive. Once the provision is approved, it will be implemented immediately.

The clause will allow insurance companies to cancel payments for injuries or death if the person is a member of a crime group. In other words, the insurer will have the right to refuse to cover anyone who belongs to a gang, which is involved in fraud or other criminal activities. They could even refuse to cover a person with a tattoo that is recognized as a symbol of gang membership.

In addition, insurance policy holders or beneficiaries will not be able to collect life insurance if it is learned that they are involved in organized crime. 

This is completely outrageous. Regardless of what you think of the Yakuza, this cannot be allowed to stand. What this is really saying is that the insurance companies can deny payment or cancel insurance merely because of association or even guilt by association. Even if death is completely unrelated to that association. Even death by cancer, any disease and even old age!


So just because someone is alleged to have gangland ties, when they die a natural death or death by disease or something like that, their children are not allowed to get their life insurance proceeds? Well, hell, why don't we just imprison the children for the crimes of the parents too!

There are so many problems with this, I don't know where to begin! What about a young man who foolishly got a Yakuza tattoo at 20 but left the group at 25 and became an upstanding citizen for the rest of his life? Do they deny payments to his children when he is killed in a car accident or some completely random accident that has nothing to do with anything except that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time?

And what sort of precedent does this set? Will they be able to suddenly change policies (read: contracts) and deny payments to your family because, say, you worked in construction? Or the airlines industry? Or were a member of a racing club?

Laugh now, but remember the words of Martin Niemoller:

First they came for the communists,

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

There will be many who say that I am over reacting and that this is just an issue with the Yakuza and the police. I submit that they are wrong. This has to do with US government pressure on our lives and the way we want to live and everything to do with Wall Street banksterism.


This is a war between rivals gangs. The biggest and most deadly of those rival gangs is the US government who has probably killed more people all over the world in the last 48 hours than the Yakuza have killed in their entire existence.

As the US government is at war with (and bombing innocent civilians) at least 5 nations in the mid-east, about to start a war in Pakistan, in Syria, and, later Iran, and in confrontations with even her own people today, this has nothing to do with the Yakuza bothering the public but has everything to do with the US government and the status quo doing everything it can to keep our casino economy rolling for as long as possible, wherever possible. 

It most certainly was not the Yakuza who caused the 2008 stock market crash and it most certainly wasn't the Yakuza who has caused 20 + years of severe Japanese economic problems caused by government initiated easy credit, easy money and propping up zombie banks.

Anyone who cannot see what the true motivation of cracking down on the Yakuza (as a symptom of a much bigger problem - and not with the Yakuza) has not been paying attention and watches too much TV... Which, by the way, is exactly what the government wants you to do.


Don't be fooled. See the bigger picture. Who are the real criminals here?

Shocking Video of Little 2-Year-Old Girl in China Getting Run Over by Truck... and Why China Can Never Be Number One

This is a video that has shaken Chinese society to her roots. It shows what China has become. A two-year old girl is hit by a truck and run over. The truck doesn't bother to stop. A second vehicle also runs over the child. A total of eighteen people walk by the critically injured tyke yet no one stops to help until a cleaning lady happens by.

This is a very shocking video. Parental discretion is advised.

That poor dear child. This tears my heart out.


I have been to China several times and have seen how people will not lift a finger to help someone laying in the road. It is truly shocking. Some westerners who go to China and do help people in the streets are often celebrated on TV as some sort of heroes!


Some people have told me that China today is that way because of years of poverty and the government doing little to help so that people have come to think that they must fend for themselves and that other people do not matter.


In 2010, I was the marketing director for a Macau based airlines and, one day, the government of China revoked the airline's license causing nearly 5,000 Japanese to be stranded. That's just one example, but that sort of thing would be impossible in Japan. The Japanese government might revoke a license, but they'd make damn sure the people were taken care of and could get home first.


The Chinese government? I don't know what to think.


It is for this reason, and the related causes and symptoms, that I do not believe China can ever be number one. The social fabric of that country has come apart and there is no respect for private property and the concept of social responsibility has virtually disappeared.

The Yuan will not become the new world reserve currency.

China does not have deep enough capital markets or deep enough bond markets. China does not respect human or property rights, and contrary to popular belief there are so many problems with being the world's reserve currency that Chinese leadership does not even want it.

Japanese people say that China is a very "恐ろし国"

nothing to dispel this kind of thinking.
