Got the Newest Model of TV? You Have No Privacy Anymore! Your Data is Being Sent to Third Parties With Your Permission!

Been telling people for years to trash their TV sets. Few listen. First wrote about it in Lew Rockwell in an article entitled: "The Plug-in Drug."

My favorite dig at parents who, they themselves say they think TV is bad (but do nothing about it):

"People always say that they love their children and that they will do anything for them. But, for the most part, and from what I’ve seen, it’s not true. There is one thing that they will not do for their children: They haven’t the courage to throw the TV out."

Yep! Parents, often more than children, need the TV because they use it as a baby-sitter or - even though they won't admit it - they are hooked themselves (sports, etc.)

Now, today, here's something I picked up from Karl Denninger (I've paraphrased it for you):

"....I just bought a new TV.

I am now the owner of a new “smart” TV, which delivers streaming, games, apps, social media, and Internet browsing. Oh, and TV too.

The only problem is that I’m afraid to use it. You would be too — if you read through the 46-page privacy policy.

The amount of data this thing collects is staggering. It logs and records everything you do with the unit. It can even turn on while the set is off and record what's going on in your living room.

The unit comes with a warning: “Please be aware that if your spoken words include personal or other sensitive information, that information will be among the data captured and transmitted to a third party.”

Got that? Don’t say personal or sensitive stuff in front of the TV."

I don't have a TV in my home and have no intention of ever allowing one in the home...

Ever wonder why digital TV was/is touted to be such a great thing?

1) They can sell you more crap you don't need (to watch the very same crap that was on your analogue TV;

2) You can be tracked and spied upon.

And, no, this isn't illegal. A third party can turn on your microphone and record you from outside. Why? Because it is stated in the Users Agreement and the moment you turned on the set, you approved of it. You approved of this invasion of your privacy, so it isn't illegal.

Whose fault is it if you didn't read the Users Agreement?

Enjoying your time at home now, in front of the TV?

I sure hope so.

Windows and Mac Users! Google Has Been Illegally Tracking Your Every Move!

Talk about dedicated servers and disappointed clients...

Google made a HUGE mistake recently...

Last Friday, Wall Street Journal broke the story that Google somehow figured out a way to crack Safari's security settings and has been tracking users (that’s people like you and me) by stealth for more than 6 months. This means they have been following us and spying on what web pages we visit and what products we buy - as well as possibly seeing other private information such as credit cards numbers, etc...
To counteract this for Explorer and Windows users, Microsoft has made a tracking protection list. Check it out: http://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/browser/p3p/

Below you can see a screen capture of Pageviews by Operating Systems of people who visit this blog. This security breech shows that Google has been spying on approximately 87% of all Internet users!

The browser wars and security and privacy wars are heating up... If users start to implement the Microsoft tracking protection list, Google Adsense is dead.

I hope it is dead. Google already pries into our private information too much. This shouldn't be allowed or tolerated by users...

Really, Google just changed their privacy policy and now they've broken it - already?!

(PS: I do not allow Google Adsense on the blog)

Big Problems for Facebook Users?

Facebook is just starting to get bigger in Japan but there seems to be a problem with people's privacy and Facebook being used as a political "toy." It has been alleged that Facebook is used for cointelpro, spying, so-called, "Black-budget" operations and censorship.

This is alarming since nearly 30% of all the 1.9 billion Internet users in the entire world have a Facebook account.

As the Examiner reports:

Investigation has revealed that Facebook.com has denied its users access to critical extraterrestrial disclosure information, and has sabotaged Facebook groups intended for organizing a boycott against BP, the oil giant responsible for the April 20, 2010 BP Gulf oil spill false flag operation, through the use of sophisticated spying and cointelpro Facebook.com software attack techniques.
One of the cointelpro-type attacks carried out by Facebook.com and documented by mainstream media newspaper Politico was against Facebook members who attempted to organize a boycott on Facebook.com against BP, one of the corporate perpetrators of the April 20, 2010 BP Gulf of Mexico oil spill that has devastated the ecology, economy, and population of the Gulf area.
These sophisticated spying and cointelpro Facebook.com software attack techniques could only be employed with the explicit approval of an upper management executive and venture capital level at Facebook.com.    This Facebook.com upper level advertises its easy, open access to U.S. President Barack Obama, one of the largest recipients of campaign contributions from BP, and whose Secretary of Energy, Steven Chu, received a $500 million grant from BP prior to joining the Obama cabinet.
This is depressing enough as it is, but further down the same article alleges some very fishy goings-on with the financing of Facebook:
The reality of most of Facebook.com’s capitalization, and its integration with the mission of the U.S. Department of Defense’s Information Awareness Office (IAO)...
Key Facebook.com capitalization was supplied through the Central Intelligence Agency investment front company InQTel, whose Board member Dr. Anita Jones was a former high-ranking official of DARPA and of the U.S. Department of Defense Information Awareness Office.

Still think this is no problem? Watch this video for a real eye-opener. It shows that whenever you use Facebook, you irrevocably give up all your rights when it come to someone data mining your private information:
