Incredible Japanese Racism and Sexism! Watch From 2:23!!!! Shocking!!!!

I'm getting really sick of PC bleeding heart Liberals who say stuff like, "I dream of a world where all people are treated equal..." Yeah? That's right. Me too. But the fact of the matter is that, SURPRISE!, all people are different. I am not you and you are not me.


Men and women are different! Whites are different from blacks (thank God) and both are different from Japanese!


Sexism? Really? Only a fool thinks men and women are equal. For myself, I think women are smarter than men, but that's just me. If you think they are the same, then let's abolish "Men's" and "Women's" restrooms.


Yeah! Power to the people! Equality!


How about black people versus white people?

Should discrimination be allowed? Is there are difference between men and women? Is there a difference between white people and black people? Of course there is. Look at any NBA team and witness the difference.... Should NBA teams be forced to represent the cultural makeup of their homeland area like businesses do?

Do the Los Angeles Lakers need to represent Asians by having a Japanese player with short legs who can't jump or dunk? Do they need to make their team 40% white, 40% Hispanic and 10% black?

Do you like to walk into a Japanese restaurant in the USA and see a black guy, or a white guy, or a Korean guy making your sushi? Do you want a Japanese cook making your Kim Chee?

No? I didn't think so.

If you go into a Soul Food restaurant, do you want to be served by a guy named Suzuki or a white guy named McDonald?

No! Of course not!

PC correctness and reverse discrimination are out of control. People are not processed cheese. Everyone is different and that is a good thing. It should be celebrated and not suppressed. 

The more power we give to the government to control our lives, the more f'ed up everything is.

If you don't understand that, you are one very confused person....

Cool & Strange Music Vol. 1: Japanese Sixties & Seventies TV Shows & Theme Music

(Secret surprise at very bottom of this post!)


Wow! Way cool! Japanese sixties and seventies TV and cool music! Retro world, here I come!

I stumbled on this a minute ago and my wife went crazy. She said that, "Oh! I love these shows! They would come on at night and those were shows for adults and not kids, so it was our bedtime. But we'd watch by peaking through the sliding doors as our parents watched in the living room!"


Funny, eh? Some things are the same all over the world.


Here's some that I found that look and sound really cool (or at least really sixties kitsch or campy). 

This looks like a classic... I can tell just by looking at this that it has superb script writing and acting....Anyone know what show this is?

Here's some that I found that look and sound really cool. I'll ask my wife for comments:

The first one makes me laugh. It's called "G-Men '75":

"G-Men '75" was a drama about, well, G-men. It ran from 1975 ~ 1982. The announcer says these folks were "Hard-boiled" (whatever that means!) My wife says that this drama made her heart "Doki-doki" (heart pound) because these guys were "so cool!"

Next up is the theme from Key Hunter (performed by the Tokyo Panorama Boys). This is definitely very cool and strange music:

What did I tell you? Is that a cool tune, or what? I love that! "Key Hunter" was a drama about international police and it ran from 1968 ~ 1973. 

Then, my wife tells me that the next really famous one was "Taiyo ni Hoero" (Howling at the Sun):

Wow! Taiyo ni Hoero ran for 14 years from 1972 to 1986. It was your typical police show... Well, I guess it can't be that typical, running for 14 years is amazing. 

OK, so let's really go down the rabbit hole. Remember The Guardman? No? Neither do I. But this looks pretty cool. Listen to the end because there are two tunes here:

God! I guess Tokyo traffic was bad even in the sixties! I like how all these police shows always have shot of all these cops walking along in a line. The Guardman ran from 1965 ~ 1971. It was a show about guys working for a private security company.

Sure seemed like the Japanese liked police shows!

Here's one with a really cool theme song. It's called "Hijyono License" (Rough translation: "License to Show No Mercy" or maybe "Cut-throat License"):

Hijyono License ran for seven years from 1973 ~ 1980 and was a spin-off from Key Hunter.

Finally, this last one is hilarious. It is called "Shonen Jet" (Young Jet). The music isn't all that cool but you can see what a creative director with little money but lots of ideas - mostly, er, "borrowed" - from American TV can do.

Cool (50cc) motorcycle, eh? Like the Zorro looking guy who is hanging out in the young girl-in-her-pajamas house!? Shonen Jet ran for 1.5 years from 1959 to 1960.

Hey! This stuff cracks me up! I like it a lot! This is going to become a regular series on this blog. I'm going to run this regularly until I find all the coolest sixties guitar themed songs I can.

Finally, may I brag? I think I am good to write this sort of thing as I used to be in some cheesy kid's dramas too in the eighties. No! Really! I was. This is me as Napoleon and Dracula in the popular eighties kid's program "Bishojokamen Poatorin." This particular episode was from 1989.

I also used to be in a bunch of other VERY embarrassing programs (much more embarrassing than even this one!) that, hopefully, will never ever see the light of day again!

Hot Young Female Japanese Actresses, Yakuza Gangsters, Sex and Japanese TV and Mass Media - This Post Has it All!!!

Japan's news has been in a tizzy about the Yakuza and all the scary and awful things that they do that the weekly magazines just can't get enough. Today's post has it all: Sexy young girls, actresses to be exact; prostitution, gambling, mafia, TV producers and shows, and other naughty bits.


Since April of 2011, the Japanese police have been obsessed with the activities of the Yakuza, the Japanese mafia. This writer thinks it's a total farce and waste of hard-earned taxpayer monies chasing these guys around.

After all what story about gambling, sex and mafia would be complete without one?)

What horrendous crimes are the Yakuza guilty of? Well, they are guilty of the terrible crimes of scalping tickets and prostitution. As far as the crime of ticketing (that's surely the most pressing problem we have today). Please refer to: Japan's Yakuza Mafia Faces a Crackdown:

Recent scandals over illegal gambling among sumo players and ringside VIP tickets for Japan's notorious yakuza gangsters have enveloped Japan's venerated sport of sumo and fascinated the public.

There's not a person in Japan who doesn't like this character. Kind of 
like a Robin Hood or Jesse James to the Japanese.

Then, another victimless mutually consented act of sex between two adults in the privacy of their own room please refer to: "Sex Services in Japan First to Get Back to Business After Earthquake." 

Even the horrifying death and devastation that struck northeastern Japan on March 11 could not suppress the human sex drive for long. Friday (June 10) reports that sex businesses were among the first to recover, many as soon as one week after the disaster.

“I was back at my job on March 18,” says Kitty-san, a 21-year-old employee of a delivery health (out-call sex service) service named Ainori in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture. “From the day we reopened demand was even higher than it was before the disaster. Many customers had suffered from the catastrophe, and had even lost family members. They justified their urges, saying they 

‘sought psychological relief’ or ‘wanted to be consoled.’....

I applaud these businesses for getting back on track early and creating jobs for people. The economy needs it.

What people need to realize is that the Yakuza have been involved in the entertainment business in Japan for easily over 400 years. Here's two choice tidbits from Wikipedia:

"Despite uncertainty about the single origin of yakuza organizations, most modern yakuza derive from two classifications which emerged in the mid-Edo Period (1603 – 1868): tekiya, those who primarily peddled illicit, stolen or shoddy goods; and bakuto, those who were involved in or participated in gambling."

Now, once again, the Tokyo Reporter gives us a story that the - surprise! - Yakuza are involved in TV! Heavens! What will we ever do?  Here's the story from Tokyo Reporter. I have my commentary in between also.

“Entertainment production companies are basically gangster front companies,” says a former television station manager. 


Well, yes and no. Some are. Actually I own a entertainment production company since 1992 and haven't seen any Yakuza around, so this blanket statement is not true (though sometimes I'd like to hire one!) I'm sure in any country there are shady businesses operating. And just what sort of hijinks are these folks guilty of?


“They’ll engage in the wining and dining of TV station producers,"


Wining and dining of prospective clients!? Well, no sh*t Sherlock. Wining and dining to get a client? Never heard of such a thing. This must be stopped! (Over flowing cynicism)


"... and offer gambling on the golf course and mahjong, in which the producers will be intentionally allowed to win big."


Hoo-hum. This writer's never been to Las Vegas? Nah. Letting someone win at a game of cards? Never!


"...Then they might be taken to high-end hostess clubs, operated by gangsters affiliated with the entertainment production company, in Ginza and Roppongi at no charge."


They might be taken to high-end hostess clubs, operated by gangsters affiliated with the production company?... At no charge"? Might!? What a bunch of losers! In any country in the world, it wouldn't be "might" if you wanted to land the big juicy contract, it would be "must." And what's this "No charge" business? Of course it's no charge. 


"Taken to a high-end hostess club"?! You can't be serious. That this BS is even an issue is ridiculous. No! It has never happened in the USA as was reported in the DC Madam case with thousands of Washington insiders who have never been prosecuted (but, you see, they are our masters not lowly peasantry like us) or on CNBC news.


The companies will also arrange parties with some hot, young female actresses. Invitations to soaplands also occur.”


Well, if they are young female actresses, they'd better be hot. And, for the uninitiated, soapland is sort of, how shall I say, er,... a "Disneyland for men,"... if you know what I mean.

As a result, the TV station producers will be influenced regarding the casting and structuring of upcoming programs. 


"Will be influenced"? Is that what they call it nowadays? They used to call it "blowjobs"...These are called, "perks" of the job for TV producers. They get these "perks" because they climbed the ladder for 30 some years.


But there is yet a potentially darker side, the magazine warns.


"Darker side?" Cue ominous music....

“TV employees at big stations frequent ‘members only’ clubs in Nishi Azabu that are managed by close associates of gangsters,” says a police investigator. “The network being built up within this community is a concern.”

Heavens! "Members only" What are we ever going to do?

Japan is up deep serious economic problems. We have debt at 229% of GDP. Total debt at 492% of GDP. A declining population which is destroying the savings rate and our productivity and these a*sholes in government and the police are concerned about ticket scalpers, hot young actresses, mutually consented sex between adults, a members only clubs?!

Well, okay. I admit, if I were a cop, I'd be interested in the hot young actresses too.

This reminds me of the opening to Leslie Neilsen's Police Squad TV show back in the early 1980's. The entire show is incredibly funny and absurd. In this clip, at around 3:48, Neilsen as Frank Drebin says:

"My name is Sgt. Frank Drebin detective lieutenant Police Squad a special detail of the police department. There'd been a recent wave of gorgeous fashion models found naked and unconscious in laundromats in the west side. Unfortunately, I was assigned to investigate hold-ups at neighborhood Credit Unions." 

Like I said, absurd and way too funny. Too bad the Japanese police aren't joking and are absolutely serious with this idiocy involving ticket scalping and hot baths with steamy young actresses. 

Why don't those clowns get a real job and, instead of obstructing business, do something positive to help the economy?


UPDATE: Confused people who think the state is here to protect us continually attack me for "defending" the Yakuza (these are the same people who hate drug laws yet they fail to make the connection - go figure). Anyway, to show that what the Yakuza are accused of doing is business as usual in the USA (and, in fact, not nearly as bad as the Yakuza do not bomb and kill children the world over 24/7) watch this:

Marketing Japan: Fail! The Idiocy of Typical Japanese TV

The complete title with sub-title of this article should be: Fail! The Idiocy of Typical Japanese TV - And Why Young People Don't Care About it Anymore. I've pointed out before that no media can survive the indifference of young people and that's what TV in Japan has become today.

This isn't meant to be, but could be, Part 3 as to why many TV stations in Japan are doomed... I predict that the first three to go bankrupt after the digital conversion on July 24, 2011 will be (in this order): TV Tokyo, TBS TV and TV Asahi. I wrote about this in detail here and here.

Yes. Amusing and intelligent. That's Japanese TV

Last night I had dinner with a nice family of friends who had a 16-year-old daughter. I spoke briefly with the father, mother and daughter about television. It was obvious that the father didn't watch TV or had no time to. The daughter seemed to not be interested in the subject at all. The mother, on the other hand, could do nothing but heap scorn upon it. As the title of this article suggests, that the youth didn't even care about the conversation shows that TV has a serious problem in this country; the mother was basically disgusted about TV and TV content.

The mother told me of an incident recently where TV Tokyo broadcast a "comedy" talk show about some famous Japanese guy that, before he was famous, had gone out with a girl for drinks, then invited her up to his apartment. When she rejected his advances and decided to leave, he got very angry and then attacked her by throwing frozen hams at her as she ran from the apartment in a brazen example of assault and, possibly, attempted rape.

The mother was extremely angry because this affair suggested that this poor woman was about to be raped, yet the TV shows "guests" all thought that this episode was hilarious.

The TV show guests all laughed and thought this was hilarious!? Really? I wonder if they would have thought it was so funny if that were their daughter?

What was the reaction the the viewing public to this laughed at and belittled case of near-rape and assault? Predictably, anger, outrage and viewer disgust...

Well, of course, most people in Japan have some common sense, the people who work in or on TV in Japan? Well, I'm not too sure about them.

Now this episode has become a big problem in Japan and an even bigger one for TV Tokyo as the people (especially women) are very angry about this.

Trust me folks, I've worked closely with TV Tokyo people for a few years now: It is basically a TV station full of idiots.

But I digress...

A week or so ago, my 21-year-old daughter was over to visit. She works as a lighting assistant for a very famous club here in Tokyo called "Ageha." Ageha is one of these places that have all-night dance parties every weekend and famous DJ's from all over the world come there to perform. My daughter is a laser lighting technical assistant and I'm very proud that she has chosen a field that she loves.

My daughter, like most girls her age, likes music, guys, money, nice clothes and accessories; she has an iPod and, of course, a computer and a cell phone.

"Do you watch TV?" I asked her. "No," she replied.

I asked her if any of her friends watched TV. Once again, the answer was negative, "Never." Then she added, "When I was 13 or 14 years old, if you asked me or any of my friends, they would have told you that they couldn't live without TV. But if you ask them now, no one ever watches any TV. Why would anyone watch TV? It's so incredibly stupid, ridiculous and a waste of time."

I've been telling people this for at least 8 years.  She rolled her eyes, "Yes, daddy, I know that!"

Watch this video. This is typical Japanese TV. This is a short scene...From TV Tokyo or TBS - whatever - it doesn't matter - the point is that this is typical. It is about some people who have created a jet pack consisting of Pet bottles filled with water and using compressed air as propulsion.

Any kid who has played with balloons or plastic bottles in a child's wading pool knows what's going to happen when this "Jet-Pack" launches; it's going to go up to displace the pressure, then go back down immediately.

Of course, the TV audience has a bunch of (canned) laughter and they show it over repeatedly in slow-motion... Chuckle... Snicker (for, perhaps, a second or two at the stupidity of the entire thing)... Then, the show will spend the next ten minutes in mindless banter making stupid comments about it all...But then it ends... With a bunch of commercials no less...

Think about this.... This idiocy ends with commercials and a whimper of a laugh, if that. What satisfaction does the viewer get? What benefit to the viewers life was given? Or was this a waste of thirty minutes of the viewers time all in return for a second of laughter?

What a hollow existence! No wonder TV is dying. And, still to this day,  people actually sit and watch this stuff? The TV stations are so out of touch that they think a majority of people would actually take time out of their schedules to watch this? Extraordinary!

On cell phones or computers, the young person can communicate with friends real-time... They can see what they want, when they want... They can explore, adventure, learn new things and find new music, stories, romance, news!... But on TV? This sort of thing?

Dear reader is asked to consider as I finish this article, where is the satisfaction or redeeming factor in watching this Jet pack launching nonsense or watching people laugh at assault with frozen ham and attempted rape, or any manner of likeness of these two examples?

I suggest that there is none: One is about an attempted rape, but make no mistake about it, both are rape of the mind of the viewing audience by the fools running these TV stations.

The problem for the TV stations is that the people - especially the young - have finally caught on. The good old days of TV being King are gone... The days of TV Tokyo, TBS and TVAsahi are numbered.
