First up today is a trio from Los Angeles and they are called, Honeychain. Honeychain's bio says: "We're an alternative rock band from LOS ANGELES. New album, CRUSHED, produced by Kim Shattuck, available now!" and, "We've been compared to some cool bands. This makes us happy."

Next up is a band that is coming to Japan and will perform at WWW in Shibuya on Sept. 9th! They are Palaye Royale! At #1 this week is a band from Long Island, New York, called, Bad Mary. Bad Mary is also touring Japan starting August 26 ~ Sept 2.
Stencil Magazine writes about Bad Mary: "Bad Mary capture something perfect with their style of punk rock. [They] deserve all the appreciation they get, they’ve produced a brilliantly fun album and in the process have put across this feeling that they are having fun with what they do. Anyone who likes old school punk and hard indie should check these guys and girl out as they are fantastic."

From her wartime childhood to geisha apprenticeship to the glory days of a top geisha. This film illustrates the trials of the ultimate Japanese cultural enigma that is – The Life of a Geisha.
“Ghostroads – A Japanese Rock and Roll Ghost Story,” enjoyed its World-Premiere at the Raindance Film Festival in London on Sept. 25, 2017, and was released by a major Japanese motion picture company and in theaters all across Japan. The DVD and Blu-Ray went on sale all across Japan on June 13, 2018! It also enjoyed its Canadian theatrical release on August 31, 2018!

He began in the music business in 1977 as lead vocalist with the legendary Los Angeles Punk Band, “The Rotters” (Sit on My Face Stevie Nix.).
